The Legal Mechanism and Pandemics Part II

Article#: 1312

We must believe that God is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Our faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God and without it, there is no access.

This is GodSaidManSaid feature #574 that proves that God is and every Thursday eve, God willing, these features grow by one. All features are archived on this site in text and streaming audio for your edification and ammunition in the war for the souls of man. Our purpose is not to prove that there is a God. To do this is relatively easy. The vast majority of people believe in some form of god. This site proves beyond any shadow of doubt that the God of the Bible is the creator of the universe. There are no other gods above Him or beside Him. All men must give an account of their lives before God at a soon coming judgment day. Hebrews 9:27:

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Are you ready for your appointment? Have you made your peace with God? Have you been born-again? If not, you can change your spiritual condition today. All your sins and shame can be washed away. Today can be the first day of your brand-new, eternal life. Click onto "Further with Jesus" for childlike instructions and immediate entry into the Kingdom of God. Now for today's subject.

GOD SAID, Deuteronomy 23:12-14:

12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

GOD SAID, Genesis 11:4:

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

GOD SAID, Psalm 91:7-10:

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

GOD SAID, Galatians 6:7:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

MAN SAID: we don't need to be encumbered by the restrictions laid out in the Bible. We'll follow our "own" path.

Now THE RECORD. When God says, "Yes," Satan says, "No." When God says, "Do," Satan says, "Don't." Welcome to GodSaidManSaid. May the face of our God shine upon you and yours with light and truth. Thank you for coming today. We look forward to your visits.

This is part two in a short series that will make it abundantly clear why there is suffering and evil on the earth and who is responsible for it. If you have not read or listened to the first feature in this series, "The Legal Mechanism and Pandemics," do not proceed with this feature. Click onto the link now and then return. We'll wait for you here.

A few foundational sentences from last week's feature follow:

The proof of all proofs is in the result of the doing; and this short series will make this very clear. The argument goes like this: "If there is a God and He is good, why all the suffering and evil?" God is good, "God is love," and He has prepared, and is preparing, beautiful things for those who love Him. I Corinthians 2:9:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But to those who reject His words, He promises doom. Jesus said in Mark 16:15-16:

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

These words from Mark, Chapter 16, show the goodness and severity of God. By man's standards these words are "intolerant," but then that is the very nature of truth. God's Word is truth, and anything contrary is not truth, no matter how well intentioned. Two plus two equals four and 3.9 just won't do. Those who reject God's truth suffer the consequence of disobedience, which is simply the result of doing the wrong thing. [End of quote]

God's Word is like an automobile owner's manual. All the directions for a successful journey have been laid down. Those who follow the instructions will have a good trip.

Below you will find a short bullet-point list, an instant replay, of last week's feature:

● Adam and Eve were immortal and lived in paradise with the First Voice, God's.

● Adam and Eve were created with free-will. They made choices.

● Adam and Eve had been given one commandment, one law, by God: "Don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

● Dominion over the earth was given to Adam and Eve. They held the deed.

● One day a second voice was heard in the garden, Satan's, and he challenged the veracity of the Word of God.

● In an act of unbelief and disobedience, Eve followed Satan's voice, and Adam followed Eve's.

● Adam and Eve followed the lie that Satan spoke; they died spiritually that very day, and their flesh followed sometime later. They were banished from the presence of God and booted out of paradise.

● The law of sin and death began to reign.

● Satan became the little "g"-od of this earth and rules over Adam and Eve's dominion decree.

● Under Satan's direction (whose M.O. is to steal, kill, and destroy) the world has suffered a heavy and deadly dose of stealing, killing, and destroying.

● God devised a secret plan of salvation to buy back the doomed souls of man.

● Satan's challenge of "Skin for skin."

● Life is in the blood and it is the blood sacrifice that atones for sin.

● God is a God of laws and judgments. He cannot breach them and Satan knows the rules.

● God must create a legal mechanism to redeem The Banished.

● This legal mechanism must satisfy the curse of the law: death.

● Being that all things are made out of God's words, one should expect that His secret plan of salvation would be made out of words.

● The legal mechanism designed by God to break Satan's stranglehold on the sons of Adam is called born-again.

● On the cross, Jesus Christ destroyed Satan's argument of "Skin for skin" and made a way of escape through His atoning blood for those who repent and are baptized.

● God created a word-escape and Jesus Christ's name is "The Word of God."

● To satisfy the curse of the law, the sons of Adam, who were sold into sin by their parents, must die, for the curse of the law is death.

● Water baptism symbolizes death. As the believer goes down into the watery grave, the old sinful person is left buried in baptism's water and the new person in Christ Jesus arises from the water. This spiritual death (and it is real) satisfies the curse of the law.

● The born-again believer receives a new name, new Father, new purpose, new destiny, and more, and proceeds on from there.

● Jesus Christ is called the redeemer because He redeems, or buys back, that which the first Adam and Eve lost.

This is a very brief outline of the legal mechanism for destruction and deliverance. A bad and wrong choice was made in the beginning and mountains of them followed. Like mother, like daughter; like father, like son.

The March 2012 headline in Discover magazine reads, "The Human Vector." The underlying themes of the six-page feature "are that deadly pandemics are necessary social phenomena. Each human pandemic exists because social conditions have allowed it to evolve." From the Discover feature, several excerpts follow:

THE TERM PANDEMIC ALMOST ALWAYS REFERS to waves of acute infectious disease across a wide geographical area.

In A.D. 542, during the savage Plague of Justinian, the citizens of Constantinople buried their dead in towers along the city walls and, when there was no more room, in massive pits into which corpses were flung like carrion. That epidemic, almost certainly bubonic plague, rimmed the entire Mediterranean at least as far west as Marseille and killed millions.  The Black Death-caused by a variant of the same germ, Yersinia pestis, swept into Europe from central Asia in 1347 and killed between a quarter and a third of Europe.

And plague was not done with Europe yet. Londoners of the 17th century watched additional waves of disease come in by ship from Holland. In a matter of weeks, they too were infected, nailed up in their houses, and left to die. The bodies, stacked like logs on gravediggers' wagons, were carted through the streets and dumped in mass graves, which you can still see in London today.  [End of quote]

Concerning the avian flu threat, the feature continues:

Yet in 2005 scientists were so terrified of a lethal avian flu pandemic that they devised all sorts of preparations, which surely helped inspire the CDC's Zombie Apocalypse campaign. Tamiflu, an antiviral drug, was stockpiled in enormous quantities, even though the late influenza virologist Edwin Kilbourne noted that it is useless for prophylaxis. The drug also has dangerous side effects-and there are practical limits for how long you could keep people on it, anyway.

Governments and drug companies developed candidates for anti-pandemic vaccines, and some experts called for mass prophylactic vaccination, even though no human H5N1 virus existed. Government agencies urged people to stockpile water and peanut butter and tuna fish in preparation for what Michael Osterholm, director or the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, told the press would be "three years of a given hell... I can't think of any other risk, terrorism or Mother Nature included, that could potentially pose any greater risk to society than this." [End of quote]

Who is responsible for these horrific pandemics that have killed untold millions? What social conditions have made these terrors possible?

All of God's commandments are supernatural instructions designed to protect the adherent from harm. None are for God's own self-glory or benefit. All of God's commandments are correct and those who disregard them suffer the curse - the bad things that transpire from doing the wrong thing. A prime example is in the commandment in Deuteronomy 23 that we quoted in the lead of this article. God commanded human waste to be buried in the earth, but man chose to flush it in the waterways. The following paragraphs are from the GodSaidManSaid feature, "The Truth Remains True - Pigs - Lot's Wife - Flush it:"

The problems of flushing raw sewage into the waterways and the treated water coming out of wastewater treatment plants have an enormous, and often deadly, downside. The problems are huge, even in America, where wastewater treatment plants handle the vast majority of raw sewage issues.

Pollution microbiologist Joan B. Rose, at the University of South Florida, is clearing up the confusion over the source of fecal (dung) viruses tainting coastal waters and some shellfish. The article in Science News discussing her work is titled, "Viruses - Just a Flush Away." It is said that 90% of the Florida waters tested showed a presence of fecal viruses, usually at low concentrations. The germs have been linked to gastroenteritis and also to flu-like symptoms, earaches and heart disease. Imagine, human viruses flushed into the water and passed through the kitchen spigot.

In June 2000, an article in U.S. News & World Report titled, "The Sickening Sewer Crisis," said each year an estimated 400,000 American basements experience the backup of raw sewage and municipal sanitary sewers overflow 40,000 times dumping potential deadly pathogens into our streets, waterways, and beaches. In just eight months San Diego reported raw sewage spillage of 34 million gallons and the small town of Fort Pierce, Florida, reported spillage of eight million gallons. Guess what follows the sewage? Rats-big, disease-laden rats.

The following statement is from an article in Science News titled, "When Sewage is Recycled for Drinking:"

More than two dozen major utilities release so much wastewater effluent into drinking water supplies when natural waterways are low, that the treated sewage makes up more than 50 percent of the water. Although most of this treated water meets federal standards, the report notes that regulators scout for less than the full spectrum of toxicants now present in that water. As a result, the report argues, recycling sewage for drinking water should be "an option of last resort" - and when it is selected, more stringent regulations should be applied.  [End of quote]

The following excerpt is from Scientific American, January 2009:

Four in 10 people have no access to any latrine, toilet, bucket or box. They defecate in narrow alleyways, in forests, by train tracks. The disease toll of this human excrement is astounding, killing more people worldwide than any other single cause. Modern sanitation, where it exists, has added 20 years to the average human life. But population growth in the First World has taxed sanitation systems: 90 percent of the globe's sewage ends up untreated in oceans, rivers and lakes. [End of quotes]

The following is another excerpt from Discover:

To be transmitted, a germ has to be shed from one human host and picked up by another. Some germs, like cholera, make their hosts produce copious diarrhea. If there is poor sanitation or people are crowded together, those germs are likely to infect other hosts. Respiratory infections are shed into the air or onto surfaces. If someone sneezes into her hand and touches a doorknob that you touch afterwards, you may catch her infection. Some germs float through the air and you breathe them in. Measles and tuberculosis spread this way. These germs have to keep their hosts mobile. If you are knocked off your feet right away by an infection and you don't walk around sneezing or coughing, it is harder for the germ to find another person to infect. [End of quote]

Just to name two pandemics directly associated with raw human waste would be cholera and E. coli. God's commandment was to bury the waste in the earth, but Satan's man said, "Flush it." Now who is responsible for the millions of dead bodies buried in common graves? Who is responsible for the suffering and the evil? Thousands of years before modern science began to understand the reason why, God was there in His owner's manual with life and life more abundantly. Choose life and live.

MAN SAID: we don't need to be encumbered by the restrictions laid out in the Bible. We'll follow our "own" path.

Now you have THE RECORD.
