The closer we align to the beautiful Book, God’s Holy Bible, the more intelligent we become. It is demonstrated in our life’s choices. Psalm 111:10:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Proverbs 9:10:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
The more disregard one shows to this Book, and the further unaligned that one is from God’s Word, the less intelligent and more reprobate that one becomes. This is demonstrated in his or her life’s decisions, too.
The contrast between those who cherish God’s Word and those who approach with disdain could not be more 180. This contrast begins in earnest at the place Jesus Christ calls BORN AGAIN. To illustrate this miraculous phenomenon, I will reflect on my own BORN AGAIN experience, which is common to the faith. The evening of my salvation at the age of 23, my life’s decisions took a 180° course revision. Overt changes were immediately apparent:
🛑 I stopped cursing;
🛑 I stopped drinking;
🛑 I stopped doping;
🛑 I stopped smoking;
🛑 I stopped womanizing;
🛑 I stopped participating in various hurtful lusts and was freed of Satan’s bondages.
The “stopping” was a product of the miracle of the Cross, and the “starting” as much as and even more so.
I started:
🛫 Praising God;
🛫 Reading the beautiful Book to start and end my day, and throughout the day as time allowed;
🛫 Witnessing to all that would hear of the saving blood of Jesus Christ;
🛫 Attending church at every scheduled meeting and attending home Bible studies as well;
🛫 Tithing to the Kingdom of God;
🛫 Learning to hear God’s voice and to speak with Him;
🛫 Learning to love my enemies and to do good to those who would despitefully use me.
And this was just the beginning. The change happened in mere minutes, and I was not an anomaly. For me, and my wife Connie, the “stopping” and “starting” began the evening of Sunday, November 8, 1970—and what a magnificent journey it has been!
Dear visitor, have you been BORN AGAIN—born a second time, this time of the Spirit of God? John 3:3:

It’s a matter of psychological projection. The camp of the unbelievers project their evil surmisings and their own proclivities and deeds upon the camp of the faithful. This is the standard MO (modus operandi) of the devil. In the Garden of Eden, we see projection for the first time here when Satan calls God a liar. Genesis 3:1-4:
1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Satan calls God a liar when he, the devil, is the father of the lie. John 8:43-45:
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Projection is the MO (modus operandi) of Satan and his adherents of unbelief. In their great halls of learning, they emphatically declare that the Bible is a book of mere myths written by men with a God fetish, but the actual truth of the matter could not be more 180° out. The world’s academics are the masters of the myth.
Speaking of 180° out, the publication Scientific American is celebrating its 180th year. The September 2025 issue published 18 pages noting various past issues where the accepted science of the day was proven wrong and scientific thought had to reverse and course-correct, as well as instances where bold scientific assertions are today somewhat dubious. Scientific American was not ashamed, by the way. The headline celebrating their 180 years proclaims, “Upended.” A defining lead statement follows:
Scientific revelations are rarely as dramatic as they appear in movies, with an iconoclastic scientist exclaiming: Everything we thought we knew is wrong! And plenty of people have sought to selectively interpret new evidence and question the consensus of a field for policy goals or economic gain. But genuine 180s do happen—as do swerves, zigzags, and other, variously shaped course corrections. To celebrate Scientific American’s 180th anniversary, we set out to find fascinating examples of what happens when foundational assumptions get put to the test. [End of quote]
Their “truth” of yesterday is debunked by their “truth” of today, and their “truth” of today will be debunked by their “truth” of tomorrow. Now contrast that with Hebrews 13:8:
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Myths? …who is the purveyor of myths?
Who is God? …is He the creator-God of the Bible or is it evolution, the god of the unbelievers?
The entire structure called the theory of evolution is totally built upon a foundation of unbelief called uniformitarianism. This doctrine states that the present is the key to the past. The world’s geologists assert that, because the world moves along at a uniform pace now, by measuring percent of geological change they can see in the present they have the ability to extrapolate backward to the beginning of time, which they claim is 13.8 billion years ago. Unfortunately for the uniformitarians, there are two colossal global events that occurred in the past, events that can be established beyond any reasonable doubt. These two events totally shatter the false foundation of uniformitarianism.
Global Event #1:
Genesis reports that God created the earth and its universe in six, 24-hour days just over 6,000 years ago. If a uniformitarian would have happened upon Adam, the world’s first man, just 15 minutes after he was created by God, that uniformitarian would certainly assume history: Where are your mother and father, your grandparents, etc.? But Adam was only 15 minutes old. Certainly, a six-day creation would not be called “uniform” by anyone.
Global Event #2:
1,656 years after Adam opened his eyes, God destroyed the entire earth in a global flood. As a result of man’s unbelief and disobedience, God destroyed all life on earth that had the breath of life in its nostrils, with the exception of those aboard Noah’s ark. No one would call a global flood “uniform.” But, was there such an event?
The amount of evidence in defense of Noah is absolutely staggering. Just three points will be highlighted here:
1. The vast majority of the earth is covered with flood strata;
2. There are marine fossils found on every mountain peak, including Mount Everest;
3. Nearly every fossil found is a result of water action.There was a global flood and it was not a “uniform” event. The entire theory of evolution is built upon a fully discredited foundation called uniformitarianism.
Who are the masters of the myth? This GodSaidManSaid series will be dubbed “The Myth SeriesThe title of this series was inspired by ICR’s (Institute for Creation Research) “Research Edition 2025” of their flagship publication, Acts & Facts. In this feature, they published ten myths of evolution countered with the facts that debunk them. We will be highlighting their work and adding additional myths, of which there are many, as we go.

The origin of life on Earth is one of the most polarizing issues across the history of mankind. From the perspective of conventional science, life emerged by the production of living matter from nonliving matter through a complex, multicomponent process characterized as abiogenesis (a = without, bio = life, genesis = origin). This hypothetical framework implies that inorganic substances were abiotically synthesized into the fundamental organic components (amino acids, lipids, nucleotides) ultimately required for the structure and function of living cells.
But is there any real evidence that ancient, random, naturalistic forces transformed inorganic chemistry into essential organic compounds or the biochemical codes of life on Earth or any other planet? No!
First, Miller-Urey type experiments under reducing or oxidizing atmospheres only produce proteinogenic glycine and alanine (racemic), both of which would be reactively hindered by non-proteinogenic amino acids and other substances. Second, the most essential macromolecules of life (proteins, nucleic acids, phospholipids, carbohydrates) only function as polymers and would hydrolyze in the presence of water. Therefore, they are inoperable outside of a cell, the basic functional unit of life. Third, if abiogenesis were operative today, microbes would instantly devour all of the essential organic molecules, as both Darwin and Oparin perceived. Fourth, since abiogenesis is postulated to have occurred on Earth more than 3.5 billion years ago, it is not testable, verifiable, or falsifiable and is therefore outside the purview of science.
Likewise, warm little ponds, hydrothermal vents, lightning, and primitive atmospheres are merely subjective forgeries to counter what the heavens and Earth clearly reveal: existing abiotic and biotic chemicals do not reflect the ancient precursors of essential macromolecules or living cells that may have arisen from unassisted experiments billions of years ago. Simply put, life cannot create itself.
To completely convince the world of abiogenesis and all that is proposed to arise from it, theorists will need to start from scratch. That is, they will need to get their own stars, their own Earth, and all of the matter, energy, and laws that hold them together and maintain the operation of every elemental product contained within them. Until then, mixing known chemicals, gases, fluids, and electricity found on our planet in order to abiotically synthesize the fundamental organic compounds necessary for existing life is refutable.
What is irrefutable is that existing life has only ever been confirmed to arise from preexisting life. Without human intervention, matter alone cannot create or perform a “Miller” experiment or ever account for the supremely intelligent mind behind the Quaternary Triplet Code of DNA. In fact, the massless information intrinsic to every form of biological life “has never been observed to arise from purely physical or chemical processes.”
These facts are established, but to a reprobate mind the alternative is unacceptable: “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day” (Exodus 20:11). Any other view belongs exclusively within the purview of mythology, as exemplified here by the myth of abiogenesis.

The author of the feature “Pervasive Genome Functionality Destroys the Myth of Junk DNA” is Jeffrey P. Tomkins, PhD. We’ll start with a short biography of Dr. Tomkins before quoting from this feature:
Dr. Tomkins is a research scientist at the Institute for Creation Research and earned his PhD in genetics from Clemson University.
In the initial 2001 draft of the human genome, scientists determined that only about 1% - 2% of the genome contained protein-coding sequences. However, in 2007, the ENCODE project researchers published their first round of papers that only studied 1% of the genome for function. The authors in the lead paper reported that their “studies provide convincing evidence that the genome is pervasively transcribed, such that the majority of its bases can be found in primary transcripts, including non-protein-coding transcripts.” Five years later, a genome-wide study by ENCODE researchers determined that at least 80% was biochemically active. Ewan Birney, ENCODE’s lead analysis coordinator, stated concerning the remaining 20% that “it’s likely that 80 percent will go to 100 percent” and “we don’t really have any large chunks of redundant DNA This metaphor of junk isn’t that useful.”
The current status of the human genome is near 100% functional with the following main takeaway points:
1. The entirety of the human genome is a spectacular and diverse storehouse of life-critical information. This alone refutes the concept of junk DNA.
2. Protein-coding genes are essentially a basic set of instructions within a complex and vast repertoire of regulatory DNA sequences.
3. Many more RNA-coding genes exist compared to protein-coding genes, and they produce functional and structural RNA molecules that perform a wide variety of purposes in the cell.
4. A vast amount of strategically placed regulatory switches and control elements exist all over the human genome to help regulate its function.
Article Highlights:
⦁ When the first draft of the human genome was published, much of it was labeled junk DNA because its function wasn’t understood.
⦁ By the time the human genome had been entirely sequenced in 2022, the junk DNA theory was finally quashed because non-protein-coding portions of the genome proved to be functional.
⦁ Protein-coding genes are complex building instructions and are supplemented by vital RNA-coding genes that promote, enhance, and regulate a diversity of cellular function.
⦁ This genetic code was carefully written by Jesus Christ and showcases His profound handiwork.
The headline in Scientific American’s 180 feature published September 2025 reads, “RNA, Not DNA, is the Key to Life.” Several paragraphs follow:
Molecular biology’s mission, it seemed, was to decipher those genetic instructions. But in recent years researchers have discovered a dizzying array of “noncoding” RNA (ncRNA) molecules that do something other than ferry DNA instructions for proteins. They perform a surprisingly wide range of biochemical functions. It now seems that our genome may be at least as much a repository of plans for vital, noncoding RNA as it is for proteins. This shift in thinking has been “revolutionary,” says Thomas Cech, who shared the 1989 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Sidney Altman for discovering RNA molecules, called ribozymes, that can catalyze biochemical reactions. “DNA is old stuff, 20th century stuff,” Cech says. “It’s a one-trick pony. All it does is store biological information, which it does exquisitely well. But it’s inert—it can’t do anything without its children, RNA and proteins.”
Cech says it was a “big surprise” RNA could perform such diverse roles. That surprise was apparent in 2012 when scientists working on an international project called ENCODE reported that as much as 80 percent of our DNA has biochemical function in some cells at some point, and much of that DNA is transcribed into RNA, challenging the long-held belief that most of our genome is “junk” accumulated over the course of evolution.
“Textbooks 25 years ago confidently stated that RNA consisted of [three types.] Now there are hundreds, likely many thousands, of other types,” Thomas Cech, of the University of Colorado, Boulder, stated.
We have much more to learn. We don’t know how much functional ncRNA there is, let alone what the many varieties do. And “when we answer one question, it raises 10 new ones,” molecular biologist Susan Carpenter says. As scientists discover more about the many types and roles of RNA, medical researchers may discover potential therapeutic applications, yet the more profound implications are about how life works. For complex organisms to be viable, it’s simply not enough to have a “genetic blueprint” that gets read. They need to be able to change, on the fly, how their genes get used. RNA seems to offer incredibly responsive and versatile ways of doing that. [End of quotes]
Not “junk” anymore. Another evolutionary myth hits the dirt.
The next myth highlighted by Acts & Facts’ Research Edition 2025 is found in the article “The Tiktaalik Missing Link Myth.” The writer is Frank Sherwin, D.Sc. (Hon.), and we will start with a short biography:
Dr. Sherwin is a science news writer at the Institute for Creation Research. He earned an M.A. in invertebrate zoology from the University of Northern Colorado and received an honorary doctorate of science from Pensacola Christian College.
In 2004, the paleontological community—and the world—was presented with what many evolutionists considered to be a dyed-in-the-wool missing link between fish and land animals (tetrapods). Evolutionary biologist Neil Shubin and evolutionary paleontologists Edward Daeschler and Farish Jenkins found an incomplete fossil of a creature called Tiktaalik on Ellesmere Island in northern Canada. The specimen was supposedly 375 to 383 million years old (Devonian layers). Since then over 60 Tiktaalik specimens have been discovered.
The Tiktaalik missing link celebration was short-lived. Much to the dismay of the evolutionary community, a 2010 study in the journal Nature examined fossil track evidence that tetrapods were walking on open ground “397 million years ago” in what is now Poland. This date is about 18 million years before the appearance of Tiktaalik based on the evolutionary narrative and is so much earlier than expected.
The paleontologists concluding these Polish trackways “force a radical reassessment of the timing, ecology, and environmental setting of the fish-tetrapod transition, as well as the completeness of the body fossil record.” But whatever made the tracks in Poland doesn’t look transitional because it was walking with stout legs. How could fully formed land walkers have evolved from lobe-finned fish if they were walking around millions of years before the fishes’ ancestors were alive?
Tiktaalik needs to be removed from textbooks and museum displays where it’s currently crowned as a creature with key transitional features. The evolutionary history of fish sprouting limbs and walking onto dry land is back to square one. In the meantime, the Genesis account of creation stands.
Article Highlights:
⦁ For over 20 years, a fossil named Tiktaalik has been held up as a missing link between sea and land animals.

⦁ Additionally, Tiktaalik’s anatomy doesn’t match that of a tetrapod.
⦁ The evolutionary concept of fish sprouting limbs and crawling out on land doesn’t hold water, but the Genesis creation narrative still holds together.
