The first religion was the Word of God, the Creator.  His children enjoyed the blessings of His Word by mixing His Word with their childlike faith.  Satan offered the second religion, which is unbelief in God’s Words.  

The controversy is over whose Word is true.  The true religion is a book, a living Book.
