For years youve been told to go for skim over full-fat dairy. But, what if what you thought you knew was wrong? God sets forth lifes directives through insights, endorsements, and commandments, and when these perfect dictums are observed, the result is the blessing of doing the right thing.
Whole Milk: There is No Substitute
Topic#: 00988 from WWW.GODSAIDMANSAID.COM

Casting off the Word of God brings on what the Scriptures call “confusion of face.”  Regardless of what issue the Scriptures address—from food and DNA to devil possession—cast off God’s Word and expect confusion of face.  The prophets Ezra, Jeremiah, and Daniel address this condition, which is always the result of casting off God’s instructions.

Repetition is fundamental to learning; for example, memorizing your ABCs and mathematics tables.  In marketing, an old slogan is “repetition is reputation.”  Isaiah 28:9-10:

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Regular visitors to GodSaidManSaid are familiar with this principle: Inherent within any commandment or directive of God, there is a blessing or a curse.  The individual—you and me, in particular—choose one or the other. Deuteronomy 30:19:

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

It is so childlike simple.  Because the Word of God found in your majority-text Holy Bible is the inerrant and perfect truth, obeying its commandments and endorsements yields the blessing of doing the right thing.  Because the Word of God is the inerrant and perfect truth, disobeying yields the curse of doing the wrong thing.  It is the immutable and unescapable law of sowing and reaping.  Galatians 6:7:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Would you accept Jesus Christ, also known as The Word of God (Revelations 19:13), as the authority on how to get to heaven?  Jesus declares you must be born-againJohn 3:3:

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Have you been born again—born a second time, this time of the Spirit of God?  Born-again is the doorway to eternal life.  At this place, your sins and shame are washed away.  At this place, all of Satan’s bondages are broken—all of them!  As you repent to God of your sins, believing on the shed blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for the remission of sin; and as you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Christ, a colossal miracle will take place.  You will become brand-new.  II Corinthians 5:17:

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Will today be the day you choose life and live?  In just mere moments, you can interact with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and participate in the greatest miracle that man can enter into.  Follow me in this simple prompt and everything changes.  Ready?  Do this now.  Click onto “Further with Jesus”  for childlike instructions and immediate entry into the Kingdom of God. NOW FOR TODAY’S SUBJECT.

GOD SAID, Genesis 18:1-8:

1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

GOD SAID, Leviticus 20:24:

But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

GOD SAID, Proverbs 30:5-6:

5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

MAN SAID: No animals except humans (according to pseudoscience, man is an animal) drink milk after infancy.  It’s obvious the penmen of the Bible were ignorant about the negatives of whole milk.  Today’s science tells us whole milk is detrimental to health and dread the thought that someone would consider drinking raw milk!

GodSaidManSaid began nearly 50 years ago.  On a weekly basis, beginning just over 20 years ago, we have published a feature that certifies the Bible’s self-declaration that it is true and righteous altogether—and yes, miracles and all.  God’s Word never changes.  That’s the nature of truth.

Life is filled with its functioning categories and one category, that of diet, is obviously critical to all life, from the earthworm to man.  God sets forth life’s directives through insights, endorsements, and commandments, and when these perfect dictums are observed, the result is the blessing of doing the right thing.  The Bible is the unabridged truth and does not change with the winds and doctrines of theologians and academics. That is the nature of truth.

Today’s subject will revisit several GodSaidManSaid features, published as much as 17 years ago, and bring forth science’s latest discoveries concerning milk.  Keep in mind that it can’t be done: One cannot mock God’s Word without paying the consequence.  It can’t be done, ever.  Do it and lose, all the time.

The following excerpts are from the GodSaidManSaid features “Science and Fat Milk,” and “Milk—Man Leads the World Astray, Again:”

Isn''t it amazing that every time God makes a directive, man stakes out a position against it? Milk is very highly endorsed by God. Consequently, man has aggressively opposed it. Man has successfully typecast milk, more directly, milk "fat," as a health boogie-man. New evidence, which I''ll outline later, makes it clear that we''ve been led astray...again. Without milk fat the body cannot assimilate the milk''s calcium. Consequently, those drinking skim milk are not getting the calcium they thought they were. Today a relatively modern epidemic is the one called osteoporosis, which is brittle bone disease. Are you beginning to see linkage between man''s choice of skim milk and this dread disease?

The following quote is from an article published by Web MD, December 2001:

Our children are in the midst of a "calcium crisis," according to food and nutrition experts.

Only 14% of girls and 36% of boys age 12 to 19 in the U.S. are getting the recommended amounts of calcium, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Close to 90% of adult bone is established by the end of the teen years. So if kids are off to a bad start in getting enough calcium, says the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), down the road, they are at serious risk of developing the brittle-bone disease osteoporosis as well as other bone diseases.

"Osteoporosis is a pediatric disease with geriatric consequences," said Duane Alexander, MD, director of NICHD, in a news release.

And then again the article reads:

Kids are not getting enough calcium, in part, because they are drinking too many soft drinks and non-citrus drinks instead of milk, which is full of calcium and vitamin D. But milk consumption is on the decline.

Alexander explains that the number of fractures among children and young adults already is increasing, probably due to lower intakes of calcium.

And pediatricians are also seeing a rise in kids with rickets, a bone disease that results from low levels of vitamin D, according to the NICHD. Rickets became almost nonexistent when vitamin D was added to milk in the 1950''s, but doctors are now seeing this devastating bone disease among kids.

"As these children get older, this calcium crisis will become more serious as the population starts to show its highest rate of osteoporosis and other bone health problems in our nation''s history," Alexander said.

Dr. Hulda Clark, a famous naturalist and author weighed in concerning milk in her 604-page book titled The Cure for All Diseases. She recommends three cups of milk a day with at least 2% butterfat. The doctor said, "It takes bile to make calcium absorbable, yet milk with less than 2% butterfat does not trigger the gall bladder to empty its bile at mealtime." Note that fat in milk is necessary if the calcium is to be absorbed into the body''s bones. The doctor says even calcium tablets are no substitute for whole milk.

Dr. R.C. Sprong with the Department of Nutrition, Quality and Safety at Nizo Food Research in the Netherlands said concerning new research:

There was some evidence that milk may protect against bacterial infections and it''s already known that some kinds of fatty acids can kill bacteria. So we wanted to look at the positive effects of milk fats.

Web MD went on to discuss this matter and the following excerpt is from that article:

Her team isolated the critical components -- fatty acids and sphingolipids -- from regular cow''s milk, and tested them on a few of our most menacing bacterial foes: Campylobacter, Salmonella, E. coli 0157H7, and Listeria. These are the dreaded, foodborne bugs that wreak havoc on the gut. They cause most people a few days of miserable diarrhea and vomiting, but they can be deadly for the very young, very old, and those with weakened immune systems.

"We didn''t test the whole spectrum of bugs that can induce gastrointestinal infection, because we didn''t look at viruses," says Sprong, "but we did look at the most important bacteria that cause the majority of foodborne illnesses here in the Netherlands and in the United States."

They grew bacterial colonies on the special petri dishes, and watched what happened when they added the milk components. Although it worked better on some than others, the overall effect was fairly dramatic. The bugs died. "Listeria and Campylobacter were most sensitive [to the isolated milk products], while E. coli and salmonella were less sensitive," says Sprong.

[Dr. Greg Miller of the National Dairy Council said,] "these researchers were looking at the same isolate levels that you''d get from drinking a glass of whole milk." So, he says, given the potential benefits, if you''re looking to maintain a low-fat diet, you might want to cut the excess from an area other than milk.

New research from the Department of Nutrition at the University of Tennessee found that the more milk products such as yogurt or cheese people consume the leaner they are. The research has also found that a regular diet of yogurt (two cups daily) caused blood pressure to drop. [End of quotes]

Surely one of the top five food products promoted by God is milk. Even Israel’s promised land was called "a land of milk and honey." When the Lord dined with Abraham, prominent parts of the menu were milk and butter. Obviously God hadn’t received the message from His detractors that milk was only good for infants, neither did Moses, Joshua, Job, Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, or the Apostle Paul.

On the “Health and Science” page in the September 28, 2018 issue of The Week, the headline reads, “Could Full-Fat Dairy be Good for You?”  Excerpts follow:

Health experts have long warned people away from full-fat dairy products because they contain high levels of saturated fat, which is thought to raise levels of LDL—or “bad” cholesterol.  But a major new study has concluded that in moderation, whole milk and full-fat yogurt and cheese could help protect against heart disease and stroke.  Researchers examined data from more than 130,000 people across 21 countries over nine years and found that participants who ate two or more daily servings of full-fat dairy had a 22 percent lower risk of heart disease, a 34 percent lower risk of stroke, and a 23 percent lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.  (A serving was 8 oz of milk or yogurt, or a half-ounce slice of cheese.)  Butter consumption wasn’t linked to similar benefits—though that may have been because most of the study’s subjects ate little of it.  Study co-author Mahshid Dehghan, of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, says that while full-fat dairy is high in saturated fat, it contains many other nutrients that are important for a healthy diet, such as calcium, magnesium, and vitamin K.  [End of quote]

Today’s science thumps its chest but really, faces should be red.  For thousands of years, the children of childlike faith have reaped the benefits of obedience and confidence sown in God’s beautiful Book. Trillions of hours of abundant life have been claimed by the grave as a result of confidence sown in the world’s “food science” while standing in opposition to God.  [End of quotes]

A 2016 headline of Time.com reads, “The Case Against Low-Fat Milk is Stronger than Ever.”  A few paragraphs follow:

For years you’ve been told to go for skim over full-fat dairy.  Even the latest dietary guidelines for Americans urge people to avoid the full fat, and following this lead, school lunch programs provide only low-fat milk and no whole milk at all, even though they do allow chocolate skim milk with its added sugars.  But large population studies that look at possible links between full-fat dairy consumption, weight, and disease risk are starting to call that advice into question. And some research suggests people who consume full-fat dairy weigh less and are less likely to develop diabetes, too.

In a new study published in the journal Circulation, Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian and his colleagues analyzed the blood of 3,333 adults enrolled in the Nurses’ Health Study of Health Professionals Follow-Up Study taken over about 15 years. They found that people who had higher levels of three different byproducts of full-fat dairy had, on average, a 46% lower risk of getting diabetes during the study period than those with lower levels.

In fact, in a separate study published in the American Journal of Nutrition, another group analyzed the effects of full-fat and low-fat dairy on obesity and found that among 18,438 women in the Women’s Health Study, those who consumed the most high-fat dairy products lowered their risk of being overweight or obese by 8%. [End of quotes]

January 2, 2020, the headline of NYPost.comread: “Drinking Whole Milk May Help Prevent Obesity in Kids: Study.”  Excerpts from that article follow:

Lots of us would love to cut an inch or two off our waistlines, but just how to go about it can be a struggle. Cutting calories is obviously top of the list, but when it comes to milk, the tendency to opt for reduced-fat milk in an effort to lose weight might be far more misguided than you can imagine.

In a new study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, data from 28 different research efforts was analyzed, with the goal being to explore the potential link between drinking certain types of milk and overall weight gain and obesity risk.  What the data shows is that when it comes to staying slim, whole-fat milk is the way to go, at least for kids.

In 18 of the 28 studies the researchers reviewed, children who drank whole milk were actually less likely to be overweight or obese than their counterparts who drank milk lower in fat.  In fact, the results showed that children who drank whole milk had 40 percent lower odds of being overweight or obese compared with children who consumed reduced-fat milk. [End of quotes]

The December 30, 2019 headline at ScienceDaily.com reads, “Children Who Drank Whole Milk had Lower Risk of Being Overweight or Obese.”

On page 20 of the January 24, 2020 issue of The Week, you’ll find the following:

Children who drank whole milk rather than low-fat milk are less likely to be overweight or obese, reports the New York Times. Canadian researchers examined 14 studies involving 20,897 children that compared kids who drank whole milk, with 3.25% fat, to those given milk containing less than 2% fat.  They concluded that the children who drank whole milk had a 39% lower risk of being overweight or obese than their peers who drank lower-fat milk.  Moreover, the kids’ risk of obesity gradually declined as their whole milk consumption increased. [End of quote]

A final note on the lauded “food sciences:”

The world’s food science has a long track record of being on the wrong side of God’s science.  A very short list follows:

🍒 U.S. food pyramid turned upside down;

🍒 God commands the land and its Sabbath;

🍒 Olive oil versus vegetable oils, etc.;

🍒 Butter versus margarine and all types of partially hydrogenated fats;

🍒 Whole-milk and raw milk versus skim;

🍒 Breast-feeding versus formula;

🍒 Raw honey versus sugar and sugar substitutes;

🍒 Negatives of hormones fed to livestock;

🍒 Clean versus unclean meats;

🍒 GMO crops and the horrors to come;

🍒 Dead animals mixed with cow feed and mad-cow disease;

🍒 God’s endorsement of eggs;

🍒 Salt to taste;

🍒 Whole grains versus “refined;”

🍒 And many more.

God’s position has not changed.  Man’s “food science” is in a constant state of flux.

Thousands of years ago, the truth in the Holy Bible was penned and today, the truth stands true to itself.  Choose life and live life more abundantly, even eternally.

GOD SAID, Genesis 18:1-8:
