Elijah, the great prophet of God, challenges Israel on the issue of false gods and specifically Baal worship. I Kings 18:21:

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Do you halt between two opinions? Have you made a decision to surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ? What is holding you back? Set yourself to seek the Lord and the chains of sin will be broken. Confess Him before men and your light will spring forth. The great man of God, Joshua, speaks to Israel in Joshua 24:15:

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Your choices could not be more stark. Moses, the man of God, admonishes in Deuteronomy 30:19:

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Although the day and hour is not known, many signposts are noted in the Scriptures and all the signs are shouting, "SOON! Very soon!"

This feature will demonstrate Satan's masterful weaving of the spider's web. There is one absolutely staggering event getting ready to happen to this earth, an event that God's Word has foretold for thousands of years. This event is called the catching-up, great taking-up, or, more commonly, the rapture of the church. This astounding event where the dead in Christ (those born-again individuals who have already died)and the redeemed who are alive at that moment, will bewilder the inhabitants of the earth when they arise to meet Jesus Christ in the clouds. From the signposts in the scriptures, this event appears very near.

Satan is fully aware of this "last-days" reality. He will need a plausible explanation for his damned followers and he is busy preparing one. A special note: It is a somewhat common thought in Christian ranks that after the great taking-up, those who were aware of the truth but rejected it will then have another chance at salvation, but that is a 180-degree turn from the Word of God. Again, consider these sobering words in II Thessalonians 2:3-12:

Satan does not know the exact time of this coming event, but he reads the signposts very well. He will need an explanation for the millions of missing humans. Every one of the missing will have an identical sociological profile. Every one of them will be born-again servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, sons and daughters of the living God.

The passage above speaks of those who rejected the Word of God and were left behind to experience the wrath of God and says "...God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:," and the lie is in full bloom. This ubiquitous satanic message permeates the global psyche. The world is being prepared for the inevitable. Our culture is awash with his message.

When scientists in the evolution community are confronted with the foolishness of their explanation that nothing evolved into everything, they often fall back on the doctrine of panspermia, the hypothesis that life is distributed across the universe by meteorites. When evolutionary icon Richard Dawkins was pressed to explain the enormous complexity of life, he suggested that this world was seeded from outer space. Noble Lauriete Francis Crick also suggested panspermia. This is not an uncommon idea in academia.

Consider the word panspermia. 'Pan' is the Greek word meaning 'all.' In Greek mythology, 'Pan' is a god. The Pantheon was a temple in Rome dedicated to all the gods. According to Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language, the definition for pantheism is: "The doctrine that the universe is God, or the system of theology in which it is maintained that the universe is the supreme God." [Some might say "Mother Earth."] 'Sperm,' in panspermia, is simply the seed of procreation. Panspermia means we were seeded by superior beings from outer space - extraterrestrials. It is true that we were created and seeded from outer space as in the third heaven where God resides. Consider Genesis 1:29-30:

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

God, His Christ, the angels, Satan, and the devils are not of this world, but panspermia is the scientific world's explanation for the complexity of life, void of the true God of the Bible. Satan creates a similar explanation, but rejects the true God—and Satan's minions follow his pernicious ways. Notice the spirit of Satan's champion, the son of perdition, in II Thessalonians 2:3-4:

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Satan is preparing the minds of his followers. Untold books have been written, and movies and documentaries with personal accounts have been aired, concerning Unidentified Flying Objects (U.F.O.s), spaceship sightings, and spaceship abductions. Black Muslin leader Louis Farrakhan tells of being abducted into a spaceship, which he called the mother ship, and he is not alone with such tales. Just a tip of the iceberg of Hollywood's efforts would include ET, Star Wars, Star Trek, and many others of the like.

The other day, while driving down the road listening to the radio, an "expert" on the subject of panspermia and "spaceship abduction" was being interviewed. He mentioned one of the leaders in the antichrist movement who recently postulated that, at a time in the near future, a global spaceship abduction of about 20,000,000 people would occur. This group of people was being removed because they were guilty of breaking the Earth's harmony. This individual actually used the phrase "twinkling of an eye." Consider I Corinthians 15:51-57:

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Satan does not know the exact time of Christ's coming for His church, but he reads the signposts very well. He will need an explanation for the millions of missing Christians and he is busy developing it.
