Man Changes God’s Words and Becomes A Liar
The concept of adding to God’s word and being found a liar relates to all walks of life, especially theological doctrine. Man had added his words as supreme, and many down through time have predicted the day of the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. In every instance they have been found liars. Man Changes God’s Words and Becomes A Liar
Several years ago a mystery occurred at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, hospital. A mother had given birth to a stillborn child. She and her husband decided on a formal burial for their dead baby. Much to the chagrin of the hospital it could not produce the corpse of the infant. Quite a furor and much embarrassment arose. Unbeknownst to those searching for the little baby's body, something else was going on in the laundry room. When taking bed sheets out of the commercial washing machines, those working in the laundry came across a deformed undiscernable corpse. They sent the body to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. The Smithsonian's initial assessment was that it was a monkey that had died and somehow got bundled up with the dirty sheets and sent to the laundry. After a short period of time another Smithsonian expert took a look and corrected the first assessment. It in fact was a human baby corpse. Isn't it amazing that they were confused over a somewhat deformed corpse that was only dead for a few days but speak with certainty about a bone fragment that had supposedly been dead for 4 billion years?
Concerning those who contradict the word of God, you shouldn't be suprised to know that what they speak with certainty about today will be the same information that is found untrue tomorrow. Life is replete with just such examples.
GOD SAID in Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verses 5-6:
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
MAN SAID that man created God simply as a crutch to answer the hard questions and to give support in trying times and as far as the Bible is concerned it is the words of mere mortal men.
If God's statement quoted above in Proverbs is true, then when man adds or as far as the matter is concerned, subtracts from God's Word he should be found a liar and that's exactly what you'll find.
Do you remember hearing about the famous Scopes evolution trial that took place in Dayton, Tennessee? This was the trial that opened the doors for teaching evolution in America's public schools. Leading scientific authorities claimed that man evolved over billions of years. One of their purported missing links that they offered up as evidence for evolution was one they called "Nebraska Man." Their evidence consisted of a single tooth—not some fully fossilized skeleton they had unearthed—but a tooth! When William Jennings Bryan contested such scanty evidence he was laughed to scorn. Years later when more fossils were unearthed at the same site the famous tooth from the courtroom turned out to be the tooth of a pig.
Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verse 6:
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
In 1912, Dawson unveiled to the world the famous missing link he called "Piltdown Man." His earth shaking find consisted of a piece of a jaw, two molar teeth, and a piece of a skull. The evolutionists said this was evidence of a missing link—an ape-man that they claimed was a half-million years old. It was big news for the anti-God crowd at least until 1953 when the hoax was exposed. The jawbone was that of a modern ape. The teeth had been filed down plus the bones were artificially colored to deceive the world and deceive them it did. Dr. Duane Gish holding a Ph.D. in biochemistry said this concerning the Dawson fraud: "The ease with which this fraud fooled the world's greatest authorities illustrates the powerful influence of preconceived ideas among evolutionists."
In Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verse 6, GOD SAID:
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
In November 1999, National Geographic, a publisher of a cornucopia of lies, trumpeted a report of another so-called missing link that was to connect dinosaurs to birds. It is much of evolutiondom's claim that dinosaurs are still with us today in the form of birds, even hummingbirds. National Geographic reported that a Chinese farmer came forth with the fossilized remains of a chicken with a dinosaur's tail. In a U.S. News and World Report article published February 14, 2000, titled "The Piltdown Chicken," the following quote was found:
Now, paleontologists are eating crow. Instead of a "true missing link" connecting dinosaurs to birds, the specimen appears to be a composite, its unusual appendage likely tacked on by a Chinese farmer, not evolution.
Xu Xing, a Chinese paleontologist and co-researcher of the find, e-mailed the bad news that it appeared two fossils had been pieced together. Storrs Olson, curator of birds at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History had warned National Geographic of the dubious credentials of this fossil find before they published the story. In a public statement Olson said, "The public is being completely bamboozled." And in another statement on this subject Olson said:
The idea of feathered dinosaurs and the theropod origin of birds is being actively promoted by a cadre of zealous scientists acting in concert with certain editors at Nature and National Geographic who themselves have become outspoken and highly biased proselytizers of the faith. Truth and careful scientific weighing of evidence have been among the first casualties in their program, which is now fast becoming one of the grander scientific hoaxes of our age—the paleontological equivalent of cold fusion.
The experts, who by the way are funded by National Geographic, gave their new find quite a sophisticated name, Archaeoraptor Liaoningensis. Sounds scientific, but try "chicken with phony lizard's tail." Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verse 6:
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
The concept of adding to God's word and being found a liar relates to all walks of life especially theological doctrine. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew, Chapter 24, Verse 36 concerning his returning and the end of the world:
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
In spite of the above verse, man had added his words as supreme and many down through time have predicted the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. In every instance they have been found liars. You just can't add to the Word of God.
The New International Version (NIV) of the Bible which is a product of the apostate minority text manuscripts, has made a plethora of additions and subtractions from what's written in the majority text Authorized King James Bible. Many pivotal God-given doctrines have been mutilated. For example, the NIV says in John, Chapter 3, Verse 16:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
In the same passage the King James says:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Note that Jesus Christ is called the one and only son of God in the NIV, whereas the majority text KJV says that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son. This is hugely problematic on two fronts. First, the Bible declares that there were many sons of God before Jesus Christ's advent here on the earth.
Genesis, Chapter 6, Verses 1-2:
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Job, Chapter 1, Verse 6 reads:
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Again in Job, Chapter 2, Verse 1:
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
In Luke, Chapter 3, Verse 38 the Bible says that Adam was a son of God. The NIV, by changing John 3:16, has caused a major contradiction. Jesus Christ is not the one and only but rather as the KJV says, only begotten son."
This may seem to some as inconsequential but consider this: The term begotten means to come forth from, to procreate, to generate. Jesus Christ was begotten of God. Mary yet being a virgin conceived of the Holy Ghost. It was necessary that Jesus be begotten of God and born of a woman, the seed of David, in order to break the back of Satan's argument found in Job, Chapter 2, Verses 4-5:
4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Satan's position was that God's design process was the error and that no man would walk uprightly if his own hide was in the balances. The first man, Adam, fell and sold his progeny and his authority to Satan and no man after him was found without flaw. Jesus Christ was born of a woman conceived of the Holy Ghost. He was without sin and was the second Adam (I Corintians 15:45). He came to purchase back what the first Adam had sold, thus his name "Redeemer." But in order to accomplish this, Jesus had to break the back of Satan's contention which required his sinless obedience unto the Faith even unto the shedding of his life's blood on the cross. The shedding of Christ's blood destroyed the power of the Devil over those who would believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of his cleansing blood. Only the only begotten son of God could accomplish this heaven and earth changing feat...son of God and son of man.
So it is obvious that the NIV's changing of John 3:16 causes major problems in the Word of God and in so doing affirms the inerrent truth of God's Word as written in Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verse 6.
GOD SAID in Proverbs, Chapter 30, Verses 5-6:
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
MAN SAID that man created God simply as a crutch to answer the hard questions and to give support in trying times and as far as the Bible is concerned it is the words of mere mortals.
Now you have THE RECORD.
