II Corinthians 6:1-2:
1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
John 3:3:
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Have you yet to be born again—literally born a second time, this time of the Spirit of God? Will today be your day of salvation? John 1:11-12:
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Imagine—receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour makes possible the miraculous born-again experience: the power to become the sons and daughters of God. GOD SAID, Genesis 6:12-17:
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
GOD SAID, Genesis 7:18-24:
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
MAN SAID: If you attend a Bible-believing church, you have to check your brain at the door! There is no God—forget about it!
Now THE RECORD: How could a book of words be life to those who embrace it and death to those who don’t? How could “just a book” be revered and loved by the childlike, but reviled and hated by worldly scholars and their adherents? How could a book that covers the history of the world in precise detail, whose last writings were penned nearly 2,000 years ago, destroy the bitter arguments of all its detractors—every single one? How could this ancient book be supernaturally inerrant on every subject on which it decides to put forth—in spite of the rigorous rebuke of the carnal world’s brightest? How could “just a book” reveal unto me where I came from, why I’m here, and where I’m personally going—simply who I am—when the rest of the progeny of Adam is trying to “find themselves?” How does one single book, written thousands of years ago, stand forth in the glare of science’s latest discoveries and outshines them all? How could a book perfectly instruct regarding the interaction of the physical and the spiritual—even supernatural—worlds, and how to navigate back and forth, when the fields of psychology and parapsychology stumble in the dark? How could this “old book” be the compendium of perfect knowledge on all things as diverse as creation itself to moral social conduct, psychological and physical health, diet, and so much more? How could this amazing book open the door of sweet communion with God and even eternal life? The answer? This book is a person. Revelation 19:13 speaks of Jesus Christ and says, “…and His name is called The Word of God.” All the books ever written must bow the knee to this one and only book.
According to Bishop Ussher’s book The Annals of the World, Sunday, December 7, 2349 BC, Noah and his family, and the creatures two-by-two, entered into the ark that would carry them upon the flood waters that would cover and destroy the entire earth. GodSaidManSaid has published a plethora of features on Noah’s Ark, which has been confirmed repetitively via geology, paleontology, archaeology, microbiology, genetics, ancient societal records, and more—yet the unbelievers cling (and I mean cling) to their unbelief. Why such relentless rejection of the obvious? Jesus Christ states it clearly in John 3:19-20:
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
It is just that simple.
If Noah and the ark are true, if God worked directly with this man who was the tenth generation from Adam, to keep life alive on the earth—if it is true—academia’s house of cards comes tumbling down. Foundational to the theory of evolution is the doctrine of uniformitarianism, which basically says that the present tells the history of the past. The premise is that the geology of the earth maintains a very steady, dependable, and measurable rate of change. With the absurdity of evolution hinged on the need for billions of years for any reasonable evolution to occur at all—which is actually unreasonable—two anti-uniform events such as a global destruction by a flood just over 4,300 years ago and an actual creation of the earth, universe, and man just over 6,000 years ago—well, that just won’t do.
Noah is back in the news. Two GodSaidManSaid saints brought to our attention the latest global stir regarding the flood, with news hailing from China. Ancient Chinese accounts of their beginnings speak of a catastrophic flood that threatened the heavens from which a Noah-like hero emerges. This hero is God’s conduit for the salvation of mankind.

Several points to keep in mind:
- The flood in the days of Noah took place approximately 4,365 years ago;
- The flood in the days of Noah took place in approximately 2349 B.C.; and
- Noah was the tenth from Adam, the world’s first man.
Some of the researchers attribute this catastrophe as a result of the ice age, and it should be kept in mind that an ice age did begin shortly after the global flood, where it continues in places like the North and South Poles.
Excerpts from several features follow:
📌 Under the heading “Archaeology, The Bible, and the Post-Flood Origins of Chinese History,” from Creationism.org, you’ll find the following:
The flood was as important in the ancient mythologies of the peoples of China as it is to Scripture. Many primitive peoples described it as a catastrophe of Biblical dimensions. The Miao Legend states that a single human couple escaped the deluge in a wooden drum, and then gave birth to the first members of post-flood humanity. The Shu King, China’s first “history,” states:
…destructive in their overflow are the waters of the inundation. In their vast extent, they embrace the hills and overtop the great heights, threatening the heavens with their floods.
Yu, the Chinese “Noah,” overcame the flood waters, but he and his immediate predecessors are of a lineage well-known to world mythology. The Bible, the ancient Sumerians, and the Chinese all cite a chronology of ten rulers whose last member was the hero of a Great Flood epoch. Similar legends are known from Greece and India. Some modern scholars have recognized the unity of these genealogies and suggested they may have originated in ancient Sumeria. In our Biblical framework, the great flood was an actual event and each of these traditions indigenous to the lands where they are found. Such a currency of like traditions is to be expected on the basis of Scripture, and on that basis, the Miao are quite correct in ascribing the whole of post-flood humanity to a single family.
A missionary named F.M.L. Savina had earlier collected the stories of the Miao who lived in southern China. These people also spoke of the “golden age,” indicating that it had ended when a woman picked some forbidden strawberries. They told of how a brother and sister had escaped the flood waters in a wooden drum and how all post-flood humanity was descended from them. Then there came a time when mankind grew numerous and tried to reach heaven with a ladder. The “Lord of Heaven” struck these few dead with lightning. Before this time, all people had spoken one language: now they were given many languages and, not being able to understand one another, separated. The Miao went to a land where the days and nights were six months long. They eventually migrated into Honan province, in China, and were in possession of that land when the Hia, or “Chinese,” arrived. [End of quotes]
Note: Noah is the tenth from Adam and the Chinese Noah is the tenth from the world’s first man. Keep in mind that these accounts are not from a Bible-based people.
📌 New York Times, August 4, 2016, under the heading “Scientific Evidence of Flood May Give Credence to Legend of China’s First Dynasty:”
Scientists have found evidence of a catastrophic flood that overwhelmed the upper Yellow River Valley in China some 4,000 years ago, an event that they say may confirm the historical basis of China’s semi-legendary first dynasty.
Ancient Chinese texts record a mix of historical events and legends. Some records, such as those relating to China’s second and third dynasties, were confirmed in surprising detail when archaeologists turned up inscriptions on oracle bones and ancient bronzes.
The leader of a team of researchers at Peking University in Beijing said its reconstruction of the outburst flood showed that ancient accounts of the Great Flood “may well be rooted in a historic natural event.”
But records of the first dynasty, that of the Xia, contain stories of a Great Flood with a Noah-like savior, the Emperor Yu, who gained the mandate of heaven after dredging canals to dispel the floodwaters and make the land safe. Historians have long wondered whether this flood account was a creation-style myth, the folk memory of a real event, or some mixture of the two. Some have dismissed the story of Emperor Yu as a fiction intended to justify centralized rule and, in the absence of any evidence of a massive flood at the time, many have regarded the stories of the Xia dynasty as more myth than history.
A team of archaeologists and geologists led by Qinglong Wu of Peking University in Beijing has now discovered evidence of a massive flood that they say could be the Great Flood mentioned in the Chinese annals. [End of quote]
📌 NewScientist.com, under the title “First Evidence of Legendary Flood Reveals China’s Origin Story:”
Legend has it that a great flood engulfed China 4,000 years ago. Lasting for more than 20 years, it was finally tamed by the heroic efforts of Emperor Yu, whose Xia dynasty marked the birth of Chinese civilization and its transition into the Bronze Age.
“This was the first stage in the founding of Chinese civilization,” says Wu Qinglong of Nanjing Normal University. “But no scientific evidence had been discovered until now.”
This lack of evidence for such a flood had prompted some to challenge the truth of the story.
But we now have the first compelling evidence that the flood did actually happen at the time and place chronicled in the legend.
In the Jishi Gorge, along the Yellow River, his team discovered rocks and sedimentary formations that could only have existed as a result of a cataclysmic flood.
According to Daniel Montgomery of the University of Washington in Seattle:
“It’s probably beyond the reach of science to ‘prove’ the origin of an oral tradition handed down generation to generation for a thousand years before the first written records,” he says. “But it supports the historicity of events central to the early history of Chinese civilization, and provides another example of how some of humanity’s oldest stories—tales often taken as mythology or folklore—may be rooted in natural disasters that really happened.” [End of quote]
📌 UK Telegraph, August 5, 2016 headline, “First Evidence of Legendary Chinese Flood May Rewrite History,” the following excerpts appear:
According to legend, Emperor Yu emerged as a hero after he was said to have eventually tamed the waters by leading dredging work.
Yu was given “the divine mandate to establish the Xia dynasty, the first in Chinese history, and marking the beginning of Chinese civilization,” said the study, which appeared in the journal Science.
Darryl Granger, professor in the Department of Earth Atmospheric Planetary Sciences at Purdue University, said the geologists found that the flood would have been “more than 500 times larger than a flood on the Yellow River from a rainfall event.”
Floodwaters would have surged to 38 meters (125 feet) above normal levels, said the study, which analyzed bone samples from three human victims aged 6 to 13 years. [End of quotes]
📌 August 4, 2016, Washington Post headline, “Legends Say China Began in a Great Flood. Scientists Just Found Evidence that the Flood was Real:”
It’s said that the flood looked like “endless boiling water,” surging across the landscape. A wave as tall as a 30-story building would have crashed over the banks of the Yellow River, demolishing everything in its path. It soaked the streets of ancient China’s nascent cities and washed away the surrounding farmland.
“The flood is pouring forth destruction. Boundless and overwhelming, it overtops hills and mountains,” goes a quote attributed to the legendary Emperor Yao. “Rising and ever rising, it threatens the very heavens.”
If civilization was to survive, the people needed a hero who could tame the floodwaters and restore the land. That man was Yu, founder of China’s first dynasty, the Xia. Over the course of decades, Yu organized a dredging campaign, dug channels that would carry the water back to its source, and pioneered a tradition of great Chinese public works.
In an accompanying analysis for Science, University of Washington geomorphologist David Montgomery wrote that Wu and his colleagues offer compelling evidence for the historicity of the Great Flood myth. He also noted that anthropologists have found that flood myths from cultures around the world often reflect the environments in which they’re set. Societies living in tectonic subduction zones tell stories of giant tsunamis; those living in mountainous and polar areas evoke the failure of glacial dams.
[Note: There are over 500 societal records of a great flood—not earthquakes or volcanoes, but a catastrophic flood.]
“It increasingly seems that fundamental elements of the global tapestry of great flood stories mirror the geography of tsunamis, glacial outburst floods, and catastrophic lowland flooding,” Montgomery wrote. Now that we know China’s Great Flood seems to be real, “how many other ancient stories of intriguing disasters might just have more than a grain of truth to them?” [End of quotes]
📌 Headline, February 8, 2016, AncientPatriarchs.WordPress.com reads, “Chinese Mythology Clarified by Miao Legend Confirms Noah’s Flood History!” Excerpts follow:
In yet another version of the more than 500 global flood stories, the Chinese legend tells how the world was swept by a Great Flood, and only Fu Xi and his sister NüWa survived. They then retired to Kunlun Mountain where they prayed for a sign from the Emperor of Heaven—God—or as He is called in Chinese, Shang Di.
Like the Chinese, the Miao are yet another ancient nation that remembers some of their earliest patriarchs. Not just that, but they possess surprisingly accurate recollections of the Creation, the Flood, and even the Tower of Babel and its confusion of languages! Many of the finer details of their accounts coincide almost identically with the Biblical record in Moses'' Book of Genesis.
They were found to already possess this knowledge, in the form of ancient couplets, when they encountered Western missionaries for the first time. The oral traditions in which the descent of the Miao was preserved, owe their purity to the fact that they have been recited faithfully and in full at funerals, weddings, and other public occasions for thousands of years, since time immemorial. Thus, they are able to reproduce the earliest names of their primogenitors.
According to the Miao, we all descended from the First Man, whose Miao name translated in English means “Dirt” or “Earth”—which is identical to the meaning of the name “Adam,” the first man in the Bible. One of Adam’s sons is called Seth, while Dirt’s son was called Se-Teh! The grand- and great-grandchildren of Seth are called Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah in Genesis. In Miao records, they are named Lusu, Gehlo, Lama, and Nu-Ah! Virtually identical names. And Nu-Ah was married to a lady called “Ga Bo Lu En.”
But that’s not all. Noah, who survived the great, worldwide flood, had three sons called Ham, Shem, and Japheth. In the Miao record, Nu-Ah also had three sons, called Lo-Han, Lo-Shen, and Ya-Phu. Again, virtually identical, with “Lo” meaning something like “Lao” in Chinese—meaning “old” or “venerable one,” like Lao Zi, for example, the famous father of Taoism.
Even the children and grandchildren of Noah’s three sons are amazingly similar. According to Genesis, Ham had Cush and Mizraim, Shem had Elam and Asshur, while Japheth had Gomer. According to Miao record, Lo-Han had Cusah and Mesay, Lo-Shen had Elan and Ngasshur, whereas Ya-Phu had Go-Men, from whom this particular Miao tribe claims to have descended.
And so, all this taken into consideration, everything certainly starts to make a lot more sense than some of the myths and embellishments that sprung up in the minds of the early Chinese storytellers long ago. You can hardly blame them, not having any other comparative historical records to consult with, as we have today.
Again, evidence has come to light that Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth were real historical people, who built a real historical boat, and survived a real, genuine, global flood—no matter what skeptic individuals are saying against it in the name of “science” falsely so-called. [End of quotes]
