For the vast majority of the world, proving that there is a god, or some supreme being, is a relatively easy thing. That is not the critical challenge and Satan is fully aware of it. Establishing that the God of the majority-text Bible is THE God is the task, and yes, Satan knows it. In the third chapter of Genesis, a second voice is heard in the garden—Satan’s voice—and it challenged the Word of God. Unfortunately for mankind, in an act of unbelief and disobedience, Grandmother Eve ate the fruit. Since that devastating day, unbelief and disobedience have ruled the hearts and minds of carnaldom. Consequently, sin and death have been the results.
It has often been stated on this website, and it surely needs repeating, that for over 6,000 years Satan has harnessed the world’s greatest minds to challenge and attack the Word of God. He and his entourage have failed time after time, after miserable time. The philosophers have challenged. The world’s theologians have challenged. The revisionist historians have challenged. Pseudo-science has challenged, etc. Failure, sin, and death have been their only results.

In the original creation (Genesis 1) God created a water canopy above the sky that encompassed the earth. He cast it down in the days of Noah. The scientific model constructed on these facts demonstrates that this water canopy would have yielded very long life to the inhabitants of earth. One reason is that it blocked the ultraviolet killer rays from the sun which have been associated with at least 60 diseases.

It’s “just a coincidence” that Columbus said that his inspiration to discover the western hemisphere was the writings of the Bible prophet Isaiah who wrote, “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:” (Isaiah 40:22). God sits upon the circle of the earth.

• Years ago, a gentleman (now in his late 80s) who worked in the bread industry relayed this telling information. The bakery had storage bins full of ground whole wheat that the rats could not resist. Once the bread bakers removed the bran and the wheat germ from the flour, the rat problem disappeared. The rats didn’t eat the white flour. It’s not a good idea to tamper with God’s products. The Biblical minimalists have challenged the dating of the writings of the book of Isaiah because in chapter 44 he wrote the name of the Persian king, Cyrus, who did not come upon the scene for nearly 200 years. Verse 28 reads:
